Our Story. . .

On April 1, 2008, Mitchell Katten and Nancy Temple formalized their vision on how to best serve clients by launching Katten & Temple, LLP. Mitch and Nancy have forty years of experience representing corporations, individuals and state agencies in a wide variety of matters. The focus of this emerging firm is client service.

Utilizing a broad range of experience for the best outcome. . .

Our invaluable combined experiences give us a sound platform to best represent our clients. We have litigated in federal and state courts and before federal and state agencies in Illinois and across the country, including antitrust, class action, commercial, employment, intellectual property and professional liability litigation. In our careers, we have served as partners at large and small law firms, worked as in-house counsel as well as state agencies.

Optimizing results not billable hours. . .

Katten & Temple, LLP serves clients with a long-term approach to keeping the relationship as mutually beneficial as possible. While we are counseling clients regarding day-to-day legal issues or serving as primary outside counsel for small businesses, we are striving to optimize, not billable hours. Our long-term relationships developed from resolving difficult matters with succinct legal efforts. We are a relationship-focused firm.
